Denali Graphics & Frame was originally opened in 1989 as a retail custom framing shop and gallery in a small storefront off Northern Lights, and very quickly added commercial framing services with our first commercial job of 535 framed pieces, followed by 400 assembled wood mirror frames for the Sheraton Hotel. In 1991, the original gallery and frame shop moved into a larger location in the pink mall on Dimond Blvd and briefly operated another small gallery called Museum Art located downtown on 5th Ave. In 1993 Denali Graphics and Frame expanded by buying out Graphics Art Plus and moving into their gallery in the Dimond Center Mall, 1993 also marks the year we took on our largest commercial framing job to date of 2600 pieces of artwork and matted framing for Arco Oil Company and moved the frame shop into our current warehouse location on Arctic Blvd. Denali Graphics expanded again substantially in 1995 when we bought out Framers Supply and took up the services of wholesale framing supplies. We opened our second gallery in the Northway mall in 1999 and expanded our warehouse space to include the current art framing room expanding our shop space to 5600sq. ft. We closed the Dimond Center gallery in the year 2000, and took over the operations of Arctic Art off Huffman Road in 2003. In 2005 we closed our Northway mall location and consolidated to a larger storefront off Huffman with Artic Art, closing the doors to our last gallery in October 2008. In 2008 Denali Graphics also took on another form of service by becoming an official government contractor for framing services and material supply. 2012 we began to offer professional printing services to our artists and the general public, an endeavor we are continuing to fine tune.
